I wish I had known ahead of time to grab my box of tissues. The last book I read was The Fault in Our Stars, and this book was pretty much the same thing, but I felt like The Fault in Our Stars was predictable and unoriginal too. I still liked both of these books individually.
This book was a beautiful piece of work that really touched my heart. It is such a quick read, and so fast paced that you start and end the book and less than a month has passed.
Axi Moore is a good girl who is sick of being a good girl. She's sick of taking care of her alcoholic father and studying for AP classes. She's in love with her best friend, Robinson, but she doesn't have the guts to tell him. That is, until Axi Moore decides to take a spontaneous road trip with Robinson. On the road trip, Axi and Robinson get into more trouble than they expect to. Axi and Robinson's lives are both changed forever on this road trip. They realize how precious life is, and how a great love can change your life forever.
This book teaches so many lessons of love and loss. It touches on so many different faucets of life, that so many readers can relate to.
